Peri peri quorn rice

  • 1 onion chopped

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 375g rice

  • 2 cloves garlic chopped/crushed

  • 2 peppers chopped

  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes

  • 1 box Quorn pieces

  • 2 splashes peri peri sauce (to taste)

  • 2 splashes hot chilli sauce (to taste)

  • 1 handful vegetables any you would like

  • 1 box mushrooms chopped


  1. Fry the garlic and chilli for a few minutes, before you add the Quorn, onion, peppers and mushrooms. Fry until soft and cooked.
  2. Then add the peri peri sauce, honey and hot chill sauce.
  3. Stir well, and cook for a few moments before adding your pre-cooked rice.
  4. Mix through, and serve with with tortilla chips, garlic bread or prawn crackers.

Handy Hint

This dish is also nice with chicken - recipe directions are the same, but chop and fry the chicken breast until cooked through before the other steps.

    Sounds lovely but quorn contains egg. This cane up when I searched for egg free recipes.

    i make this a lot for my family and freinds great dish to make alot of and put on the table and all dig in great with glass of cave (adualts only)
