  • 120g self-raising flour

  • 120g caster sugar

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 handful chocolate chips

  • 2 ripe bananas thinly sliced

  • 120g butter

  • 1 tbsp chocolate sauce

  • 1 handful sprinkles

  • 100ml semi-skimmed milk or cream (to mix)

  • 1 handful fudge pieces

  • 2 tbsp squirty cream

  1. Spread a layer of banana thick on a tray. Put it in the freezer.
  2. Grease and line a tin and set the oven at 150C/ Gas Mark 2. Add butter and sugar to bowl, whizz with an electric whisk. Add eggs, whizz again with the electric whisk. Gently, gently sift the flour on top and stir it with a metal spoon. Put it in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Leave to cool.
  3. When it has completely cooled, get a loveheart cookie cutter and cut out as many as you can fit.
  4. Put the frozen bananas into a bowl, add milk/cream gradually and whizz with a stick blender until you get the required consistency for ice cream.
  5. Put two hearts in a bowl and top with banana ice cream. Decorate liberally with all the goodies, with plenty of cream and chocolate sauce.
  6. Serve to mummy with a big spoon.
