Creamy turkey and leek pasta

  • 300ml double cream extra thick

  • 1 leek chopped

  • 1 chicken stock cube

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 4 handfuls pasta

  • 1 handful button mushrooms chopped

  • 4 turkey breast diced

  • 8 slices unsmoked bacon or smoked if you prefer


  1. Slowly fry the turkey, add the mushrooms, leek, bacon (chopped into pieces), and add the garlic.
  2. Once all cooked add the stock cube into a small cup with 4 tablespoons boiling water and mix into a paste then add to all ingredients.
  3. Give a stir around so its all over the mixture and add the double cream and reduce heat so it's simmering slightly.
  4. Serve with freshly cooked pasta.

Handy Hint

Start cooking the pasta first.
Buy garlic puree from the supermarket and use 1 tablespoon instead of the clove.

    This is our family favourite and my 10 month old son loves it as does my 4 year old daughter - clear plates all round!! Cheap and easy!!!
