By tezajuice



  • 60g caster sugar

  • 3 drops vanilla essence

  • 200g plain flour

  • 125g butter or margarine


  1. Mix the flour, sugar, butter and vanilla well until you have a dough ball.
  2. Roll out to a thickness of about 10-12 mm.
  3. Place on a tray and prick with a fork all over. Sprinkle with caster sugar and bake for 15-20 minutes at 190C/170C fan.

Handy Hint

You can use gluten free flour.
