Sticky peanut butter flapjacks

  • 125g sugar

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 250g oats

  • 125g butter


  1. Preheat the oven to about 175C.
  2. Melt the butter, sugar, syrup and peanut butter in a pan over a low heat.
  3. Turn off the heat and chuck in the oats.
  4. Stir well and then press the mixture into a greased and lined tin.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown at the edges.
  6. Cool completely in the tin and then cut into squares.

Handy Hint

Press the mixture down well into the tin with the back of a spoon before baking to ensure maximum stickiness when they are done!

    Yes good recipe. I substituted maple syrup as didnlt have any golden, and used less sugar and was still plenty sweet enough.
