  • 1 sesame oil or vegetable oil

  • 1 soy sauce

  • 2 eggs

  • 195g basmati rice

  • 1 handful peas

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 handful prawns cooked and chilled

  • 1 carrot chopped

  • 2 spring onions chopped


  1. Cook the rice in plenty of boiling water then drain and rinse with boiling water.
  2. Scramble the eggs and set aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, add the carrot and garlic and stir fry until carrots soft.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Check the seasoning and serve.

Handy Hint

You can also add chicken or other meat/veg if you like.
Stir it all together with two wooden spoons for ease. Put stock in the rice water for extra flavour.

    Forgot to say stir fry for a bit when everything is in the pan.
