  • 1 tomato sliced

  • 3 slices goat's cheese

  • 1 clove garlic peeled

  • 1 fresh tomatos

  • 1 handful basil

  • 1 ciabatta


  1. Slice the Ciabatta into slices measuring about 1/2 inch.
  2. Drizzle some olive oil on one side of the bread and grill that side.
  3. Take off the grill and rub grilled side with a peeled garlic clove.
  4. Arrange bread on heat proof plate - un-grilled side up.
  5. On un-grilled side place slice of tomato and then a piece of goats cheese.
  6. Scatter ripped basil leaves over the whole lot. When you want to eat pop under the grill until the cheese melts and eat.
