Prawn and avocado salad

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise heaped

  • 1 pinch paprika

  • 1/2 bags prawns

  • 1 tsp ketchup

  • 1/4 cucumber

  • 3 small avocados

  • 1/2 bags mixed lettuce leaves


  1. Chop up the cucumber and avocado and place into a bowl. Put the prawns into the bowl. Then put the mayonnaise into the bowl with the squirt of ketchup. Mix really well.
  2. Put lettuce leaves onto a side plate, then very carefully place the avocado/prawns etc onto the bed of lettuce leaves. Sprinkle a small amount of paprika on top.

Handy Hint

Frozen prawns can be used and defrosted really quickly under running water.

If you do not want to use ketchup and mayonnaise then sea food sauce is just as good!

    Really yummy, all the family can eat it. If you want to make it vegetarian then omit the prawns. If you want to make it dairy free then go to the health food shop and buy dairy free mayonnaise.
