Yummy baby lentils

  • 1 handful cheddar grated

  • 100g red lentils

  • 2 carrot diced


  1. Boil the lentils as per the packet instructions.
  2. 5-10 minutes before they are ready, add the diced carrots. What point you add them depends on how hard you want them to be in the finished meal - the newly weaned baby may prefer them to be properly mushy.
  3. Drain and stir in grated cheese to taste and a splash of olive oil.
