Crispy chicken dippers

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 450g chicken breast

  • 150g panko crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper

  • 4 tbsp creme fraiche


  1. Take chicken fillets and dip it in the creme fraiche, making sure each strip is evenly coated.
  2. Then dip each strip into the panko crumbs, ensuring once again it's completely covered. Pat the panko crumbs in if required.
  3. Put the olive oil in a pan and then fry the chicken fillets for around 10-15 minutes, turning regularly until they are evenly golden brown and firm to the touch. If unsure, cut one open to check that they're cooked though.

Handy Hint

If you prefer, these can be baked in the oven after the second step. Heat your oven to 240C/Gas Mark 9 and bake for 15 mins, turning once halfway through cooking.
