  • 4 tbsp cream cheese

  • 8 slices streaky bacon

  • 1 tbsp chives

  • 4 chicken breasts


  1. Split the chicken fillets, making a pocket inside.
  2. Mix together the cheese and chives and spread generously in each fillet pocket.
  3. Wrap bacon around the fillets, sealing with an extra bit of the soft cheese, and cook in tin foil for 55 minutes to seal all the flavour in.

Handy Hint

Crumble a stock cube on top for an extra glaze.

    Really easy but looks like it takes a lot of effort! Didn't try it on my toddler, but me and DH loved it.

    Loved this, and so did the kids. They suggested I coat them in breadcrumbs next time.

    We do this with pesto instead of chives, which is a big hit too!

    this is a delicious easy recipe that is a hit with adults and children, takes only a short time to prepare and is also quite healthy
