  • 1 onion chopped

  • 1 pinch seasoning

  • 1 seasoning

  • 1 pinch rosemary (optional)

  • 1 tin tomatoes

  • 1 tin anchovies

  • 2 handfuls pasta

  • 1 tin white beans eg cannellini beans, broad beans


  1. Put the pasta on to boil.
  2. Fry the onions in the oil for a few minutes, then add the anchovies chopped up. The anchovies will melt into the oil if you keep stirring, giving this simple dish bags of flavour. Stir in the beans, then add the tin of tomatoes. Bring to the boil then simmer until the pasta is ready.
  3. Finally add the rosemary into the tomatoes sauce, saving a few sprigs for decoration. Season to taste. And either add on top of the pasta or stir pasta into the sauce.

Handy Hint

Add a different herb to suit you or garlic.
