Veal burgers

  • 1 onion finely chopped

  • 1 eggs

  • 2 handfuls breadcrumbs

  • 500g minced veal or beef, from British farms


  1. Mix it all together - with your hands if you like!
  2. Form into small patties, and either cook immediately on a medium heat for about 5-7 mins on each side (depending on how thick they are, they may need longer), or pop them in the fridge to cook later. They're great in burger buns or served with veg.

Handy Hint

These burgers are great for small children to help with.
We have them with home made bread rolls (easy peasy if you have a breakmaker!)

    These were something I threw together, using my own recipe but went down such a storm with my family that I've vowed to make them again!
