Honey and almond crispy flapjacks

  • 175g sugar

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 100g oatbran

  • 40g flaked almonds

  • 150g Rice Krispies

  • 135g butter (or margarine)

  • 5 honey and almond porridge sachets


  1. Melt sugar, honey and butter together in a large pan.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Spoon into a Swiss roll tin and bake for 15 minutes at 180C.
  4. Allow to cool and then cut into 12 bars, or 24 for smaller squares.

    Made this up today with bits and pieces I had in. They were yum! Lovely and sweet and almondy.
