  • 100g cream cheese

  • 1 pinch dill

  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

  • 3 courgette


  1. Cube the courgettes and steam until very soft.
  2. Mash them in the pan and leave to cool.
  3. Add the cream cheese and mash well together, adding pepper and herbs. Chill, it's done!

Handy Hint

Try adding some tomato and garlic paste (Tesco do one, and also a parsley one) for added zing.

    Great as a dip with little bread sticks or spread on toast for breakfast. Good way of getting toddlers to eat some veg, too. Can be made with soya-based products, too, for a vegan version.
