Roasted tenderstem broccoli with shallots and chilli

  • 1 olive oil

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes to taste

  • 2 shallots cut into quarters

  • 300g tenderstem broccoli washed


  1. Put the broccoli onto a baking dish or tray.
  2. Put the shallots on top of the broccoli.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle on salt and chilli flakes to taste.
  5. Roast in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes until the florets are just starting to go crispy. Keep an eye on them as they can go from crispy to burnt very quickly.
