Quick cabbage and greens bake

  • 150g cheese grated

  • 3 garlic chopped, or use frozen

  • 300ml creme fraiche

  • 1 handful sprouts finely chopped

  • 750g frozen shredded cabbage

  • 1kg frozen chopped leeks

  • 200g mixed spring greens

  • 284ml cream longlife


  1. Melt the butter in a pan and add the frozen cabbage, sprouts, leeks, garlic and washed spring greens.
  2. Season to taste.
  3. Sauté until all frozen veg soft.
  4. Pour into shallow ovenproof dish. Pour over cream or creme fraiche until the veg is covered and then sprinkle over cheese.

Handy Hint

Best veggie bake ever. I've slipped many of my kids' 'hated' veg in this and they've not noticed.
