Made this tonight: I thought it was really delicious, DP thought it was nothing special and DS (3) initially liked it then said he was full after 4 mouthfuls. I don't care - more leftovers for me! I made it with 5 boneless pork chops, a large cooking apple and a Pink Lady, and used about half a kilo of sliced potatoes. We ate it with green beans and I thought it was bloody wonderful. Will definitely be making it again. The only note of caution is that 900ml of stock is a lot and I had to bale out some and boil off some of the liquid before I could put it back. Next time I'll either use a casserole rather than a deep sided frying pan, or only use 500ml stock.
