  • 1 celery stick washed and chopped

  • 1 free range chicken

  • 1 bay leaves

  • 4 potatoes peeled and chopped

  • 2 leeks washed and chopped

  • 2 onions peeled but whole

  • 2 carrot peeled and chopped


  1. Put all the ingredients in a big pan covered in water to simmer for 2 hours or more.
  2. Then, remove the cooked chicken and pull all the meat off to add back to pot.
  3. Now you can remove some of the mix and juice to blend for a baby or mash for a toddler.
  4. Then, add some salt, pepper and a bit of lemon juice for the grown ups and enjoy with some fresh bread and cheese, for a warming, healthy meal.
