  • 1 onion chopped

  • 1 tin chopped tomato

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 125g mushrooms

  • 300g bacon

  • 1 tbsp tomato puree


  1. Chop the bacon and fry in pan with the garlic.
  2. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and tomato puree with a bit of ground pepper.
  3. Let it simmer for a bit and there you have a yummy pasta sauce.

    I tried this on my 2 year old DD who doesn't like mushrooms normally, we both loved it and had it for lunch 2 days running! I had to scrape the bowl, so i'd give it a big thumbs up - and quick too!

    My family love this. It is so easy to make. We serve it with garlic bread and salad and have some parmesan or grated cheddar on top. It really is very yummy.
