  • 1 onion peeled and chopped

  • 1 pinch curry powder

  • 1 pint chicken stock

  • 1 large leek peeled and chopped

  • 2 sticks celery peeled and chopped

  • 3 potatoes peeled and chopped

  • 2 carrot peeled and chopped

  • 1 pinch chilli powder

  • 1 pinch chilli powder


  1. Place all the vegetables in a large pan.
  2. Add the chicken stock to cover the vegetables. Bring to the boil and then simmer for about 20 minutes until everything is soft.
  3. Add the spices to taste then blend half the soup and keep the other half chunky.

    this may sound like a very simple recipe but with the addition of the spices its very tasty!
