Ingredients

1 onion peeled and chopped

1 pinch curry powder

1 pint chicken stock

1 large leek peeled and chopped

2 sticks celery peeled and chopped

3 potatoes peeled and chopped

2 carrot peeled and chopped

1 pinch chilli powder

1 pinch chilli powder
Method
- Place all the vegetables in a large pan.
- Add the chicken stock to cover the vegetables. Bring to the boil and then simmer for about 20 minutes until everything is soft.
- Add the spices to taste then blend half the soup and keep the other half chunky.

this may sound like a very simple recipe but with the addition of the spices its very tasty!
