  • 120ml milk

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 tsp sugar (to serve)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (to serve)

  • 1 orange peeled and cut into segments

  • 2 tsp water

  • 1 eggs

  • 100g plain flour

  • 1 splash Grand Mariner

  1. Mix flour and water. Add the egg and beat. Add water and beat.
  2. Put a small dab of butter into a hot pan. Pour 3/4 of a ladle into the pan. Swirl to ensure the mixture covers the pan.
  3. After 45 seconds or so, flip the crêpe. After another 45 seconds or so, place orange segments on one half of the crepe. Flip crêpe to make a half moon shape.
  4. Add a dash of grand mariner, and apply small flame - FLAMBÉ!
  5. Fold the crepe again so it is now a quarter of a moon. Serve warm with cinnamon and sugar.

Handy Hint

Make sure the pan is super hot, see steam from the butter on the pan.

Wait until the edges curl up before flipping for the first time

An easy dinner party recipe. I can not cook (honest, my hubby does the cooking) but find this really easy, refreshing, light and quick!
