Honey sesame sausages

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for oiling)

  • 2 tbsp clear honey

  • 24 lean organic cocktail pork sausages

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds


  1. Preheat the oven to 190C/Gas Mark 5. Brush a non-stick baking sheet with a little oil and place in the oven.
  2. Whisk the honey and oil together in a large bowl, add the sausages and toss well to coat.
  3. Spread the sesame seeds out on a large piece of greaseproof paper and roll each sausage in the seeds until well coated.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and place the sausages on it.
  5. Bake the sausages in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Turn the sausages over and bake for a further 10-15 minutes until well browned and sticky.
  7. Serve warm or cold, either on sticks or in individual bowls.
