  • 75g cheddar

  • 1 butternut squash chopped

  • 2 slices bread

  • 1 tin chopped tomato

  • 1 parsnips chopped

  • 1 tin beans eg butter beans rinsed

  • 2 potatoes chopped

  • 1 sweet potatoes chopped

  • 2 carrot chopped

  • 1 bit of fresh parsley


  1. Fry the vegetables gently in a little oil in a saucepan for 10-15 minutes until softened.
  2. Add the beans and tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes, then transfer the lot to an oven-proof dish.
  3. Whizz the bread, cheese and parsley in a food processor to make a crumbly mix and top the dish. 4. Bake for half an hour in an oven at 180C/Gas Mark 4.

    Made this today minus the parsnip and sweet potato (couldn't get hold of them) and it was delicious. A big hit.

    I really enjoyed this meal, I did add a bit of garlic and also some Cauldron veggie sausage to it. It was really yummy though and DD 6 months really enjoyed it too.
