Trudi's potato salad

  • 1 handful dill chopped

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 100ml sour cream

  • 2 gherkins chopped finely

  • 500g sweet potatoes peeled and chopped into 1 inch pieces

  • 500g baby potatoes


  1. Boil the potatoes, putting the sweet potatoes into the pot 5 minutes after the baby ones, otherwise they will go mushy.
  2. Mix the sour cream, mayo, gherkins and dill together.
  3. Drain the potatoes once cooked, and leave to cool.
  4. Stir the sauce in.

Eat this with everything picnicky/barbecuey.

    so so so so SO yummy. an absolute fave of most of my friends. amazing with sausages.
