  • 1 lime

  • 1 pinch sea salt

  • 1 pinch black pepper cracked

  • 500g pollock fillet


  1. Lightly butter a baking tray, and put the pollock on it.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and grill on a medium heat until the flesh flakes when you poke it at the thickest part.
  3. Turn onto 2 warmed plates, and cut the lime in half.
  4. Squirt half the lime onto each portion of fish, poking it so the juice goes in between the flakes.

    It's v. nice, Colditz - but why the n/a on success with children - my two hoovered it! long fillets of something akin to pollock made it hard to get the thick bits cooked without overcooking the tails, but that's life
