  • 1 onion chopped

  • 1 splash olive oil

  • 1 handful parsley chopped

  • 2 red pepper

  • 1 tbsp paprika (or to taste)

  • 1 tsp caraway seeds (or to taste)

  • 1 tbsp yoghurt

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 15 button mushrooms

  • 1lb pork diced


  1. Fry the pork, garlic and onion in the oil until browned.
  2. Add the caraway seeds and paprika and fry for a further two or three minutes.
  3. Chop the peppers and add these and the mushrooms to the pot.
  4. Barely cover with water or stock.
  5. Place in the oven at 150C degrees for about an hour and a half.
  6. Remove from the oven, allow to cool very slightly and then swirl in the yoghurt.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with rice.

    This very easy receipe is popular with my children even though they are normally fussy about 'bits'. The pepper and paprika give it a lovely sweetness that appeals to children.
