  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 pint white bread flour

  • 1 pint granary flour

  • 1 pint tepid water

  • 7g yeast sachet

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C
  2. Add all the dry ingredients first, then add the water, using only a spatula to stir.
  3. No need to go mad, sprinkle with granary flour. Leave to rise.
  4. When risen empty out on surface, cover again in granary flour then cut into 4 baps.
  5. Place on a greased tray. Cover and leave to rise for 1/2 hour. Put in an oven for 20 to 30 mins.

Handy Hint

This will have a looser feel than a usual dough, trust me it's a winner, dont knead and when measuring out the flour dont bang down the flour into the pint jug as you will get too much in the recipe.

Once you have done this recipe you will do it again and again, everyone comments on the flavour of the bread. You could add olives, sundried toms etc This may be slightly sloppy, dont be tempted to over add flour when you make it. ENJOY
