  • 1 stock cube

  • 300g cheddar grated

  • 3-4 parsnips sliced

  • 1 handful sesame seeds (or other seeds if preferred)

  • 5 carrot sliced

  • 1 medium or large potato

  • 1 handful Parmesan


  1. Partially cook the parsnips and carrots in stock water. Also cook the potato to a consistency where it can be thinly sliced without crumbling.
  2. Place the carrots and parsnips, roughly chopped/mashed, into an oven dish. Make sure most of the grated cheddar is mixed among the veg. Layer the thin slices of potato on the top, sprinkle the seeds and cover with the remainder of the cheddar and some Parmesan.
  3. Heat for long enough to melt in the oven at 180C/160C fan for about 10-15 minutes, maximum.
  4. Eat! Delicious!

Handy Hint

This is so easy and quick you can pre-prepare it and heat up/microwave after a match, pre-dashing out for a club/activity.
