  • 150ml double cream (or creme fraiche)

  • 1 lemon zested and juiced

  • 200g salmon cooked and flaked into bite sized pieces

  • 500g tagliatelle


  1. Cook the salmon - add a tablespoon of oil or a knob of butter to a pan and fry for about 10 mins turning once.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions and drain keeping a little of the cooking liquid (approx two tablespoons)
  3. Mix the cooking liquid together with the cream and the lemon juice and zest.
  4. Season and transfer to a warm dish to serve.

Handy Hint

You could use smoked salmon instead

    Way too much lemon and not enough salmon in this, it was really unpleasant to eat I'm afraid. If I do it again I'd use half a lemon max and twice the salmon, also a bit more cream.
