One-pot spaghetti bolognese

  • 3 medium onion finely chopped

  • 100ml chicken stock

  • 4 tins chopped tomato

  • 4 tsp soy sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic pureed (optional)

  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs (to taste)

  • 400g turkey mince

  • 300g dried spaghetti broken into pieces

  • 300g carrot diced finely

  • 1 pinch Parmesan (optional)


  1. Fry turkey mince until browned in a large frying pan or wok.
  2. Add onions and garlic, fry until golden.
  3. Add the chicken stock, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and soy sauce.
  4. Add the carrots and and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately with Parmesan sprinkled on top if required.

Handy Hint

Children love it because it is sweet due to the carrots. A good way to get children to eat veg without knowing it!
