  • 2 large courgettes grated

  • 1 tbsp butter or non-dairy spread


  1. Put the courgettes into a microwavable bowl.
  2. Add a knob of butter or non-dairy spread and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Cover the bowl then microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  4. Serve as is for toddler or older, or blitz to a puree for a baby.

All ages seem to love these, even those who proclaim to hate courgettes!
