  • 150ml milk

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 tbsp quick-cook porridge oats

  • 1 tbsp raisins or sultanas

  • 1 banana (sliced)


  1. Combine the oats and milk in a small pan.
  2. Bring to the boil, stirring, then add the raisins.
  3. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to cook the oats through.
  4. Add cinnamon if using and stir in banana.
  5. Put into a serving bowl and cool for a few minutes before serving as the oats get very hot!

Handy Hint

Excellent for breakfast or a light supper.
