Bacon and spaghetti

  • 1oz butter

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 2 slices bacon per person

  • 2 eggs

  • 3oz pasta per person

  • 5 broccoli florets per person


  1. Cook the pasta.
  2. Meanwhile, trim the fat off the bacon and cut into small pieces.
  3. Cook the broccoli.
  4. When the pasta is cooked, drain off and rinse with boiling water.
  5. Melt the butter in the pan where the pasta was cooked.
  6. Beat together the 2 eggs and the milk.
  7. Add the pasta back to the pan. Add the egg to the pan.
  8. Stir vigorously until the egg is cooked and appears scrambled within the pasta.
  9. Serve the pasta in plates, add the bacon, add the broccoli.

Handy Hint

Use grated Parmesan cheese if required once served.

    Nice with crusty bread and cherry toms on teh side :)

    My eldest does not like eggs. Sort of camoflagued by serving with the pasta.
