  • 3 tbsp golden syrup

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 4oz chocolate (preferably dark but milk is OK)

  • 8oz digestive biscuits

  • 4oz butter

  • 2oz raisins


  1. Butter a sandwich tin, ready to use.
  2. Crush biscuits, melt butter and syrup, add cocoa and raisins, stir into biscuit mix.
  3. Spoon into tin and press firmly. Melt choc spread over the biscuit base and chill until set.
  4. Slice up and enjoy.

Handy Hint

Don't crush biscuits up too much, it's nice to have a few larger bits.
