  • 1 handful cheese grated

  • 2-3 eggs scrambled

  • 1 tin baked beans

  • 1 tbsp ketchup (to taste)

  • 1 splash Worcestershire sauce

  • 100g noodles

  1. Boil noodles as per instructions. Drain and keep in the colander.
  2. Scramble eggs in the saucepan with some milk and butter, and as they finish off, add the baked beans.
  3. Mix with the noodles and serve, adding cheese before serving.
  4. Add ketchup as required.

Handy Hint

My children sob with joy when I tell them they are having beany noodle mess for tea. Other people's children are not predictable, this is not a playdate recipe.

went down well with both children (even the fussy one). good way of getting them to eat egg. adults found it a bit too soft.

I do this without the beans as my children are weirdo bean haters, but they love eggy fried noodoos. <>

My almost-4-year-old screamed with joy when he saw this in the pan. He's munching away on it now and eyeing up seconds.

It's absolutely distressing how popular this kind of food is in my house.
