  • 1 black pepper to taste

  • 1 handful ham chopped

  • 1 splash sesame oil

  • 1 splash soy sauce

  • 1 handful peas or sweetcorn, defrosted

  • 1 carrot coarsley grated

  • 1 splash mirin

  • 140g cooked rice (approx)


  1. In a hot wok, stir fry the rice with the peas and sweetcorn quickly, then add the grated carrot and ham.
  2. Stir for a couple of minutes, then crack in one egg and stir like crazy.
  3. When it's all heated through and the egg is cooked, shake in some sesame oil, mirin, soy sauce and a grind of black pepper.
