  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 4 slices bread

  • 2 eggs

  • 100g soft cheese

  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for shallow frying)


  1. Beat together the eggs and milk.
  2. Dip the bread slices into the mixture and shallow fry gently in a little butter or oil, until browned.
  3. Mix together the soft cheese and tomato puree until smooth.
  4. Serve the soft cheese mixture in egg cups, with the toast cut into soldiers for dipping.
