  • 1/4 onion

  • 8oz potato

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 1 pinch mixed herbs

  • 4oz lean beef

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 2oz mushrooms

  • 230ml water


  1. Make a cut in the tomato and put in boiling water for a minute so its easy to peel.
  2. When it cools, peel it, remove the seeds and chop it up.
  3. Finely chop onion and potato and mushrooms.
  4. Fry beef for 5 minutes, add onion and potato and mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the water, ketchup, chopped tomato and herbs. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
  6. Process until smooth.

Handy Hint

use a tiny bit of olive oil and reduced salt/sugar ketchup
