  • 60g icing sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 100g sugar

  • 1 tbsp golden syrup

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 handfuls desiccated coconut

  • 130g plain flour

  • 115g soya or sunflower margarine

  • 2 Weetabix crushed


  1. Preheat oven to 180/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Melt margarine, sugar and syrup in a bowl in the microwave.
  3. Stir in dry ingredients until thoroughly combined and press into a 8"x6” or 7” square baking tin. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Mix icing ingredients (icing sugar, cocoa and hot water) and spread on to biscuit while hot. Leave for 5 minutes then slice into squares and leave to cool.

Handy Hint

They're supposed to represent the cubes of rubbish that Wall-e makes (my kids fell for it anyway).
