Easy cake decorating: edible flowers

Say hello to faff-free cake decorating with this incredible baking hack: gorgeous summer flowers made from marshmallows and powdered sugar. As stunning as anything you'd see on the Great British Bake Off, but in a fraction of the time and without any actual baking talent or expertise needed.

Ingredients

    • Small plain cupcakes (no icing)
    • Mini marshmallows
    • Jelly tots
    • Coloured sugar
    • Licorice

    Method

      1. Cut mini marshamallows diagonally in half and pop sticky-side down into coloured, powdered sugar.
      2. Arrange in a flower shape around a Jelly Tot.
      3. Accept all credit for cake decorating genius and tell no-one.
