Author & Journalist
Journalist Tim Dowling writes a weekly column for The Guardian, detailing his manifest inadequacies as a father, husband and human being. Born and raised in America, Dowling moved to Britain in the early 90s and began working as a freelance writer, until he gradually became unfit for any other form of employment. He is also the author of several books, including a novel, The Giles Wareing Haters' Club. His latest book, How To Be a Husband, looks to his own married life to provide the answers on what it takes to be husband, and why we stick at marriage against the odds.
