After university, Brie joined GetUp! in Australia, one of the world's first online campaigning organisations. She then returned to the UK to spearhead digital for the '1Goal: Education for All' campaign around the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where she grew a list of 500,000 users in less than 3 months. After that, Brie worked as a consultant helping organisations like Oxfam boost their digital engagement work before Ben Rattray, CEO and founder of Change.org approached her to launch the company in the UK. In the two years since launch, change.org has exploded to almost 6 million users in the UK - and has become Britain's number one platform for social and political change. On a typical day Brie will lead a team of four people advising users on how to win campaigns, speak on platforms around digital engagement and politics and campaigning and support teams in the 20 countries which have Change.org staff on how they can develop the company where they are.
