Get the kids involved in some festive making and have a go at crafting your own Christmas cards. These mini penguin cards are easy enough that they won't get bored and fun enough to give to their friends afterwards.

Level: Easy

Time: 15 minutes

  • 4 x 4 inch brown gift cards and envelopes
  • Printed design sheets of card
  • Festive mini bows
  • Sentiment toppers
  • 8 mm self-adhesive black eyes
  • Christmas and penguin-themed foam stickers

  • Double-sided tape

How to make

  1. Punch a heart-shape from the printed sheet of card and attach to the centre of a brown gift card with double-sided tape
  2. Stick two penguin foam stickers in the middle of the heart and add a pair of self-adhesive eyes to each
  3. Embellish each penguin with a scarf and hat if you like!
  4. Add a red and white bow to one of the penguins
  5. Glue a sentiment topper to the base of the card
