It's almost a month into the new year and the act of balancing work, commuting, childcare, after-school clubs and school-runs has started up again. If you're already wondering how to juggle work and motherhood, and feeling like 'there must be a better way,' Digital Mums might have the answer

If you're a stay-at-home mum or on maternity leave and looking for a way to return to work without compromising on family life or shelling out sky-high childcare costs, then this competition could also be for you.

Launched in 2014 by Nikki Cochrane and Kathryn Tyler, Digital Mums specialises in getting mums job-ready with in-demand social media and digital skills, so they can find flexible work that fits in with family life.

Digital Mums wants to support every mother in achieving their perfect work-life balance. The vision is called 'work that works' and it's working for the hundreds of mothers that have completed the organisation's training courses. Four out of five have found flexible roles that fit in around their family.

But this is still only scratching the surface. The recent #WorkThatWorks report showed that six in 10 UK working mothers still don't have access to flexible work and of those who do, over half have had to compromise their skills and experience in order to find it.

Competition: Win the gift of #WorkThatWorks

Digital Mums believes that #WorkThatWorks should be seen as the norm and not the exception. So, it's offering one lucky Mumsnetter the opportunity to win a place on its popular Social Media Management Course – worth £1,800.

WIN! One lucky Mumsnetter will win a fabulous course with Digital Mums.

Please note: good things don't come easy and this course is not for the faint-hearted. You'll need to be prepared to put in 15 hours a week for 22 weeks, but will have plenty of support along the way in the form of the fab Digital Mums Guides as well as your very own Digital Mums cohort – a group of seven sympathetic mums who are all doing the training at the same time as you and have your tired back.

If you'd like more information on what the Social Media Management Course involves, you can visit the Digital Mums website, check out what some of its graduates have to say about it, or catch them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
