Win £400-worth of WHSmith goodies + the chance for your child to become a video superstar

Regardless of what's found inside, we'll always remember the gifts that are lovingly (and painstakingly) wrapped by children

Whether covered in shop-bought wrap, hand-crafted paper, newspaper or make-do tinfoil, presents wrapped by little fingers are sure to melt the hearts of mums, dads, grandparents, aunties and uncles everywhere. After all, when it comes to wrapping, it's the effort that counts. The simplest gift can feel like it's worth a million pounds if someone has taken the time to wrap it with love - even if it's enveloped in crinkled, crumpled masses of paper and oodles of sticky tape.

Calling all Mumsnetters…

WHSmith is seeking out the UK's most enthusiastic little wrappers in order to find the Champion Child Gift Wrapper of 2016. One lucky child will be chosen by the retailer to star in its festive video guide, sharing their tips for lovingly wrapped presents.
