Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2017 – What's on?

Bar Hütte

Bringing a little 'Après Ski' to Winter Wonderland this year is Bar Hütte, a mini village of Alpine Huts that will offer visitors the chance to recharge and refresh during their trip. Accommodating up to 10 guests (or 20 by special request), each hut includes a dedicated host serving hot and cold refreshments.

If you're planning a Winter Wonderland party, each Hütte comes with it’s very own karaoke system to keep little ones entertained whilst you relax with a mulled wine (or two). Those wanting something a little extra can also upgrade their Hütte to include a fancy dress box or hamper full of alpine blankets and sheepskin covered hot water bottles.

Magical Ice Kingdom – Deep Sea Adventure

Kids sitting on ice sculpture

Deep Sea Adventure, presented by The Magical Ice Kingdom, is the largest indoor ice and snow sculpture experience in Europe and took a staggering five months and 500 tonnes of ice and snow to construct. The immersive walk through experience takes visitors on a journey through an incredibly detailed underwater world, complete with mermaid family, sea creatures and an enormous 5 metre high snow octopus. Sit on Neptune's Grand Throne or whizz down an ice slide – just be sure to wrap up warm, as temperatures inside the sculpture reach a teeth-chattering -10°C.

Cinderella on Ice

Ice skating dancers

If your child is looking for something to fill the princess-shaped void left by Frozen, Cinderella on Ice might just fit the bill. Inside the Russian inspired Winter Palace Theatre, 18 World, European and National champion ice skaters bring the classic fairytale to life with brilliant special effects that include rain, fire and flying.

Zippo's Christmas Circus

A whole host of incredible acrobats, comedy acts and illusionists come together for a specially themed Christmas show in the UK's biggest circus tent. Britain's Got Talent fans can also look out for the giant dancing snow bears of Vadik and the Bears, who were competition finalists in 2016.

The Sooty Christmas Show

Sooty show

A recognisable cast of old friends including Sooty, Sweep and Soo join TV star Richard Cadell for a show full of music, magic and audience participation. With a start time of 11am each day, The Sooty Christmas Show is perfect for families with younger children looking to avoid the peak time crowds.

Cirque Beserk – Rebellion

Nothing says Christmas quite like adrenaline-fuelled stunts, which is why festive thrillseekers will love the Cirque Beserk: watch motorcyclists speed around a steel globe cage at more than 60 miles per hour, extreme contortionists and a death-defying motorbike high wire act – plus much more.
