    "Cheap and very cheerful"

This review is for a 58 plate 1.4 diesel Ecomotive Ibiza i.e. the old shape. Downsized from an executive estate car to this now we don't have big car seats and pushchairs to cart around.

We chose the Ibiza because it looked a bit more sporty than a Polo and also secondhand ones are a bit cheaper. So far, so good. Somehow it's less effort to drive than the lumbering estate car was, goes surprisingly fast, fabulous to park. Average 60mpg, free road tax - what's not to like?

There is not a great amount of legroom in the back but DH is tall and has the seat right back: you could probably fit teenagers in if their legs weren't too long. I don't know if I'd have fitted my Phil & Ted's in the boot easily though.

I'm surprised by how much I like going back to a small car.
