Vodafone World of Difference: Donate yourself to the UK charity of your choice
Mumsnet is teaming up with Vodafone this month on its 'World of Difference' campaign.
World of Difference is all about enabling people to donate time to their favourite charities without having to make financial sacrifices. Over the years Vodafone has helped hundreds of people gain paid experience at the charities of their choice. This year, it could be your turn.
Apply now for the 2010 UK programme
Would you like to take two months out to make a difference? The World of Difference UK 2010 programme will give 500 people the chance to work for a UK-based charity for two months from March 2011, and get paid for their time. Recent winners have worked sending books to schools in Africa, helping out at city farms, bringing arts projects into local hospitals, and getting school leavers into the world of work, among other things.
If you would like to make an impact for your favourite cause and get paid for doing it, you've got until 23 November to get your application in and tell Vodafone World of Difference why you want to donate yourself to your dream charity. The programme is open to everybody, so apply now.
If you’re not sure which charity to pick, Vodafone has a charity matchmaker page for you to peruse at your leisure. For more inspiration, have a look at the previous winners and their charities.
