Super Gran is back! You may remember the popular 80s TV show about an ordinary gran with extraordinary powers - not forgetting its distinctive theme tune by Billy Connelly! We're giving you and your kids the chance to enjoy the cult children's book (originally published in 1978) with fab illustrations from Elmer the Elephant creator, David McKee.

About the book (for ages 8+)

Granny Smith is an ordinary, little old lady when something extraordinary happens. She is struck by rays from a 'super-machine' and becomes... Super Gran! Extra fast, strong, and with X-ray vision, Super Gran sets out with her grandson Willie and a girl called Edison to right all the wrongs in their town.

Along the way, Super Gran performs amazing feats - from foiling a bank robbery to saving a child from drowning. But the super-machine has been stolen by the Inventor, who has very bad plans for it. Can Super Gran and her loyal sidekicks save the day?
